Set Strike at the BeeKay
Thank you so much for supporting The Big Five-Oh! We were thrilled to see so many of you in the audience, cheering us on.
Now we need a little help striking the set (that’s theatre-speak for taking it down)!
Saturday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the BeeKay
Come for an hour or stay longer if you can. We expect it will take no more than four hours total.
If you have them, feel free to bring simple tools. Gloves, screw gun, and eye protection are always helpful. A drill with Phillips and star bits would be great, but definitely not required.
We are getting the BeeKay ready for a busy spring with Savannah Sipping Society auditions, the Blue Mountain Tribe concert, and Late Night at the BeeKay.
P.S. You’ll get to work alongside James Carhart!

Whoever said life is better after fifty had better be right! George Thomas is turning fifty on Saturday, and it has been a terrible week. His dog is sick, his son is a slacker, and his daughter wants to marry a Republican. With a neurotic wife and a widowed neighbor providing more challenges than even George can overcome, this may be the worst week of his life. Through these trying days, George will discover the wonders of family, the responsibilities of parenthood, and the results of his latest physical. The Big Five-Oh is a hilarious, sometimes touching account of a grown man coming to terms with his age, his relationship with his son, and his future.
This touching comedy celebrates what it really means to “grow up,” no matter your age, and we’re bringing it to life on the BeeKay stage!
If you love character-driven humor, heartfelt moments, and lively ensemble work, this is the show for you.

SET BUILD - Big Five-Oh
We’d love your help as we start building the set for The Big Five-Oh! This show celebrates life, laughter, and community, and it truly takes a village to bring it to life on stage. Bring if you can:
Drill/driver (with star/Torx and Phillips bits)
Hammer
Basic hand tools
Gloves
Please feel free to bring anything you think might be helpful. Every bit of time and effort makes a huge difference as we get ready for opening night. Thank you so much for supporting The Big Five-Oh! and keeping the magic of live theatre alive at the BeeKay.

Set Strike
Dear TCTA Family,
Thank you so much for supporting Winter Wonderettes! We were thrilled to see so many of you in the audience—and on the stage!
Now we need a little help striking the set (that’s theatre-speak for taking it down).
Saturday, January 3 at 9 a.m. to 12 or 1 p.m.
You don’t have to stay the whole time—come for an hour or stay longer if you can. We expect it will take no more than four hours total.
If you have them, feel free to bring simple tools. A drill with Phillips and star bits would be helpful, but absolutely not essential.
Start your new year off right by helping your community theatre! Let’s get that stage ready for The Big Five-Oh!, coming in March!
With gratitude,
Your TCTA Board
P.S. You’ll get to work alongside James Carhart!
